Sam Dwyer

The Surfers Paradise Demons are proud to announce that Sam Dwyer will coach the seniors in 2025. Dwyer, who joined the Demons in 2024 as an assistant brings a wealth of coaching experience, with previous coaching experience at Port Melbourne, Geelong Grammar and recently with SPAFC. Sam also had a decorated playing career, playing at the highest level with Collingwood ( 39 games ) and in th VFL with Port Melbourne ( 140 games ), where he is a life member, 2 time premiership player and best and fairest winner over 13 years of service. Football Manager Simon Fenton said “we are very lucky to have Sam Sign with us for 2025, he brings great experience and already has a great connection with everyone having been at the club in the previous season” Dwyers comments on his appointment “I am extremely proud to be taking on the senior coaching role at the SPAFC and would like to thank the club for entrusting me to lead the Demons into the upcoming season. I look forward to creating an enjoyable environment that embraces the hard work and challenges that come with chasing success. Bring on 2025”. Exciting times ahead down at the demons as we aim to be better next season. Every hearts be true ❤️💙
